Wilderness Wildcats at Wilderness Lake Preserve
American Cancer Society Relay for Life Team

The Wilderness Wildcats support the American Cancer Society through fund raising and participation in Relay For Life.

Events are usually held at the activity center at Wilderness Lake Preserve 21320 Wilderness Lake Blvd. Land O’ Lakes, Fl. 34637. Call WLP at 813-995-2437.

Friday, 9/16/2011: The Wildcats raised $252.50 for The American Cancer Society by hosting Family Bingo at the WLP activity center. Thanks to all who helped put the event on and to all who attended.

RELAYS

Our 2011 was at LOL High School and we expect to be there in 2012. We were a GOLD team.

Our 2010 relay was also at Land O Lakes High School. Events cranked up at 6:00 PM on Friday and ended at noon on Saturday. The winning quilt raffle tickets were drawn at about 10:00 AM. We were a SILVER team.

Our 2009 relay was at Land O Lakes High School on April 24 & 25. We were one of two SILVER teams at the inaugural event for LOL HS.

In 2008 we relayed for life at Connerton on May 30 and 31. WE DID IT! As of May 30, 2008 our team had turned over the $10,160.37 to the American Cancer Society. We are again a GOLD team.
